Building Bridges to Wealth reduces the racial wealth gap by offering free financial literacy and entrepreneurship classes as well as investment and savings groups that generate long-term wealth. We need your help to meet our goals and grow our program.
Our hybrid organization relies on both grants and the Robin Hood approach for funds. Similar to the legendary character, Professor Weigelt trickles wealth down to those in need. He teaches his curriculum in elite high schools and the revenue earned from these classes is funneled into adult programs in inner-city Philadelphia.
Building Bridges to Wealth @ Wharton is a 501(c)(3) organization. Checks should be made out to "Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania - Building Bridges to Wealth Program."
